WELCOME TO MY KIDZ CLOSET

MY KIDZ CLOSET, LLC  was established 2015 in Buffalo, NY. The owner, Tonya Mackin read a letter in 2013 written by a Buffalo Public School Teacher.  The note was addressed to the parents of preschoolers and referenced how the children were coming to school in “soiled, stained or dirty clothes”. The initial reaction was one of fury, but it also was a call for action.  This prompted Ms. Mackin to begin her journey of finding ways in which she could assist children and their families.

In September 2015, MY KIDZ CLOSET held their first of several BACK-TO-SCHOOL DRIVES in Buffalo, NY offering book bags filled with clothing, hygiene and school supplies. However, it was more than the material items. The highlight was speaking to the children and hearing the excitement in their voices, how they dream big, and their constant need of feeling supported. From that day forward an impression was left on her heart that children simply want to IMAGINE, BELIEVE AND ACHIEVE.

MY KIDZ CLOSET, LLC understands the struggles families face with our economy. And all at once made the decision to jump into the retail business to offer affordable dress for children ages three to six years. But also, to connect with families from all over the world. Our goal is to boost your child’s self-confidence which ties into their academic success.
